We invite researchers, educators, clinicians, technologists, managers, health informaticians, and students to contribute to MedInfo2017. Participate in MedInfo2017 and share experiences on the use of information methods, systems and technologies to improve quality and safety of care, enhance care outcomes, promote patient-centered care, facilitate translational research, enable precision medicine, and improve education and skills in informatics.The conference spans the entire spectrum of subdisciplines in medical and health informatics, including clinical informatics, translational bioinformatics and research informatics, nursing informatics, consumer health informatics, and public health informatics.
- Programme Tracks
The conference theme for MedInfo2017 is “Precision Healthcare through Informatics”, and the programme will be built up around the following five tracks:
I. Connected and Digital Health
II. Health Data Science
III. Human, Organisational, and Social aspects
IV. Knowledge Management
V. Quality and Safety, and Patient Outcomes
- Submission Category
The following types of submission are invited:
1. Full Paper: original contribution that either describes an empirical study, a novel system, methodology, or new insights from research
2. Vision Paper: a well-thought out, well-argued position statement
3. Student Paper: student-led research or development effort
4. Poster: one-page abstract
5. Panel: forum for moderated analysis of an important issue or emerging trend
6. Workshop: informative or interactive session
7. Tutorial: education session that introduces a specific topic
